STEVENS POINT, Wis.
So, what do you plan to do with your Christmas vacation?

Janine Golla and the students from the Stevens Point Christian Academy are fighting for the very survival of their school. Over this past summer a decision was made to close the high school portion of the Academy. Through much prayer and supplication to God, the high school was re-opened. Now there are numerous financial needs that must be met in order for the school to survive.

From December 22 to January 1, Janine and the student body of the Academy will be staging a fund raiser the likes of which have never been seen in Central Wisconsin before. Janine will be praying, eating, sleeping, and living life for all to see while camping out in a tent outside the front doors of her school. She will be supported by her classmates through prayer, notes of encouragement, spontaneous visits, and tactical support (hot chocolate and cookies!) The elements of a harsh, cold Wisconsin winter are no match for the students of the Stevens Point Christian Academy.

The students goal is to raise awareness and funds for Christian education, specifically the Stevens Point Christian Academy. They hope to raise $100,000 for the on-going operating expenses of the school and they are praying that the awareness they raise will lead to 25 new like-minded students to add to the enrollment.
