Evangelizing Struggles

    I am well aware of the need for evangelizing. This month I just want to encourage those who feel the same way as I do, to bring people out of their religion and into Christ. But I want to warn further, in case the reader is not aware of things, that there will be various gut wrenching trials and Spiritual warfare as we go along. And, of course, don’t forget what Jesus told His followers, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.”  (John 15:18). “If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.” (John 15:20). We are to expect it and just chalk it up as counting the cost.

   That being said, it appears that the enemy has no boundaries, and we shouldn’t be surprised at anything that comes along the road to discourage us. I’ve hit a few rock bottom experiences lately, and I will share them here. Twice in a two or three week time period I was on the internet, on a brother’s website witnessing to a Catholic  person who had many questions.

  The first one appeared to have a change of heart, accepting the answers that a few of us Protestants gave him. However, within a week, he professed to all of us that the Catholic Church made more sense than we did as Protestants.
