A Federal judge has now trampled our State’s Constitution. Sadly, rather than defy the Federal tyrant, Wisconsin’s lesser magistrates groveled before her and began issuing marriage licenses to homosexuals even when she had not ordered them to do so.
In the end, supposedly 62 of Wisconsin’s 72 counties issued marriage licenses to homosexuals over a week-long period, ‘til the Federal judge finally stayed her order pending appeal. These county clerks were issuing what Wisconsin State Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen described as “invalid, illegal marriages.”
Even sadder, five days into the invalid, illegal marriages, Governor Scott Walker’s office ordered the Office of Vital Statistics at the state level to process the invalid, illegal marriages.
When the marriage licenses began being issued by county clerks, I had put out a plea for people around Wisconsin to contact their county clerk and inform them that the “marriages” were invalid and illegal and to NOT issue them. We also told people to contact their county sheriff and demand they arrest the county clerk if they were issuing the licenses.
We now focused on Governor Walker for ordering the homosexual marriages issued by county clerks to be processed by state officials. We burned up his phone lines. Below is a copy of the email I sent him which was a summary of what I told his office when I called.
Governor Walker,
I have already contacted your office to express my dismay at your silence in the face of our State Constitution being trampled by a federal judge. NOW I learn that you have ordered the Office of Vital Records to process the illegal marriages of two men or two women that have been taking place in certain counties in Wisconsin.
1). You have remained silent and not defended our Constitution.
2). Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has declared Wisconsin’s Constitutional Marriage Amendment to still be in force.
3). Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has stated he views these marriage licenses issued to homosexuals to be illegal and the marriages non-binding.
4). Yet you order state officials to process these immoral and illegal actions.
5). You should have ordered all state officials to NOT comply in any way with these immoral and illegal marriages.
I can assure you, therefore, that I will never vote for you ever again, unless you immediately rescind your order. I will also use all resources available to me to encourage others in the Christian community to never vote for you. Your actions are nothing less than traitorous to Christ. As the governor of our state, your actions show abject treachery.
You have impugned the created order of God; have spit upon those men and women in our state who are trying to raise their children in godly homes; and betrayed the people who overwhelmingly voted for this constitutional amendment less than eight years ago.

Governor Walker should have ordered these county clerks to cease and desist and have directed all state officials to view all such licenses as void and invalid. Instead, he did just the opposite. He sat silent the first several days the “marriages” were taking place, then he joined in impugning the created order of God by ordering state officials to process the “marriages.”
After getting hit with scores of calls and emails denouncing his order for the Office of Vital Records to process the marriage licenses of homosexuals, Governor Walker sent Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen out the very next day to threaten charges against those county clerks that continue to issue marriage licenses to homosexuals (a moot point as the Federal judge stayed her order the very next day).
Governor Walker seems to be feigning a fight he has no intention of winning. The gullible will fall for this nonsense and still support Walker. He has spit in the face of Christ by ordering Wisconsin officials to process the homosexual licenses.
Christians need to understand that Governor Walker knows he needs our votes to win. We must not give him a pass on this -- but rather contact him and demand he defy the Federal courts and defend our state constitution.
