I just wanted to encourage you because I am confident that, as a result of your commentaries, you receive much criticism. I hear these commentaries on the VCY America station which I listen to, in my home, every day.
In a world where integrity, morality, personal responsibility, and godliness (and the list could go on) have, essentially, fallen by the wayside, your commentaries are spot on. Sadly, it is difficult to recognize a Christian, these days, from the non Christian. Compromise of God’s precious principles seems to be polluting even the Evangelical Christian churches. I am continually upset over what is going on in our beloved America, but I am even more anxiety ridden over the “falling away from the truth” which is occurring in our Fundamental Christian churches. When I hear your commentaries, at the end of a weary day, although they do present the negative, I am greatly encouraged. I am encouraged because these commentaries convey that there are some Christian men (you, in this particular case) who still take a stand, and who are willing to speak out against the moral decay of not only our country, but, sadly, also against the moral decay of the New Testament Church.
Oh, how Paul would have mourned over what we have become in recent years! So, I just wanted to give some encouragement to you -- to tell you to “keep up the good fight” for truth and holiness. And, as the Lord brings you to my mind (and your family), I will be praying for you and them -- for protection, courage, and spiritual strength.
