Every Life Matters Conference Coming to Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE, Wis.
Complimentary Story
A Life Conference is coming to The Florian Gardens in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on October 1, 2015.
“Every Life Matters” is a prolife conference that you won’t want to miss!  The event will give various pro-life organizations the ability to showcase their services to the public.  Pro-Life Wisconsin and Right to Life Wisconsin are just two of the organizations that will participate.  Apple Pregnancy of Eau Claire and Hannah Center of Marshfield are also expected to be present along with Catholic Charities and Lutheran Social Services.
The Conference has two parts.  The End of Life Issues will be addressed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Some of the topics covered will include Advance Care Directives, POLSTs, Brain Death/Persistent Vegetative state and assisted suicide/euthanasia.   Attorney Nikolas Nikas of the Bioethics Defense Fund of Phoenix, Arizona will speak on these weighty topics.
Following Mr. Nikas will be Bobby Schindler, Jr. as the Keynote speaker for the luncheon.  Mr. Schindler is the brother of the late Terri Schiavo who was dehydrated to death by the State of Florida.  Mr. Schindler will speak about the tragic journey that he and his parents traveled as they fought for their loved one’s life and the horror they experienced as they watched Terri die a very painful and premature death.  Mr. Schindler will also speak to the failings of the courts, the laws and the legal system that denied Ms. Schiavo adequate due process before the taking of her life.
Other topics that will be covered in this session include organ donation, suicide prevention and aftercare for families.  The price of admission to this first session will be $50.00 and includes lunch.
The second session, Beginning of Life, runs from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will cover such issues as abstinence, adoption and abortion.  It is hoped that middle school, high school and college age young people will attend.  Tickets for young people under the age of 25 will be $10.00.  This includes dinner.  For people 25 years old and over the price will be $45.00 per ticket.  Young people under the age of 18 years old must present a consent form which can be found on the website www.everylifematters.life.  This form must be signed by their parent/guardian in order for them to attend.
Jewels Green is the Keynote speaker before dinner.  Ms. Green suffered a coerced abortion at the age of 17 years old.  Following that traumatic experience she fell into a profound depression.  In order to make herself feel better she sought employment at an abortion clinic in order to prove to herself that it was no big deal.  Her journey and healing followed this decision and ultimately she became a national pro-life advocate and speaker!
Gianna Jessen will be the second Keynote speaker of the evening following dinner.  Ms. Jessen survived a saline abortion that her mother underwent.  Despite her disabilities she has an uplifting personality and tells an inspirational story that will leave people leaving the event with hope and resolve.
This event has been organized and sponsored by the Chippewa County Republican Women’s Club partnering with Eau Claire and La Crosse Counties’ Republican Women’s Clubs as a community service.  It is not a political event or a fundraiser.  Chippewa County Republican Women’s Club includes active members from Chippewa, Clark, Eau Claire, Jackson, Marathon and Wood Counties.
Tickets for both sessions may be purchased separately at:
