Move of Faith

   When I think about how God has worked in my life, I think about the people He used to help me in my relationship with Him.  I was adopted when I was six weeks old.  I learned later in life that my biological mother had spent years praying for me.  I had great adoptive parents and my sister and I had a good home.
   I really didn’t know much about God or have any type of personal faith.  By the time I reached high school, I found myself making some bad decisions about my life.  My choices were leading me down the wrong road and I knew it.  My only problem was I didn’t know how to change my heart.
There was a man named Steve who God had led to start a Bible study near my high school.  I think they started with around eight students but soon there were eighty students praying and studying the Bible together.  These students began praying for the other students at the school and I was one of those who they prayed for. 
   One day, someone invited me to that Bible study and it was there I started reading the Bible for the first time and heard God speaking to me through its pages.  I learned about my sin and discovered God’s love for me and how God had sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on a cross for my sins, and that by trusting in Him, I could have my sins forgiven and come into a personal relationship with ...
