2015 Year in Review

   It’s easy to forget all the news stories that happened over the past year.  Time quickly moves on to other things.  But it is important to remember the many events that together make up a rapidly changing culture... changing, dare I say,  not for the better.  Indeed, when it comes to the news in this insane world, nothing will surprise me anymore.  Truth really is stranger than fiction could ever be.   Because space is limited here, we will only be able to touch briefly upon the headlines, but I trust it will do us all good to remember the stepping stones to where we are today.  So, here we go, 2015.  Here’s what happened:
   The year began with the nation of Vietnam legalizing same-sex “marriage” on January 1st.   Boko Haram killed more than 2,000 people in Nigeria.  Homosexual couples in Florida began obtaining marriage licenses on the 6th.  
   On January 7th, Islamic gunmen stormed the offices of the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, killing 12 people.  This was followed by two more days of terror attacks.  The following week, nearly 4 million people marched through Paris declaring solidarity against Islamic terror.  Though many foreign leaders participated, Barack Obama refused.
