Jesus said the world would hate true believers, so it should come as no surprise that hatred toward Christians (real Christians) is increasing right here in America the Beautiful, a country founded by Christians. Much of the world considers Americans to be Christians and believe America to be a “Christian” nation, which it cannot be by any standard of biblical truth.
Nations cannot be Christian; only individuals can be Christians because “Christian” means having a personal relationship with the Savior by grace through faith. In a nation of some 350 million souls, only a small percentage have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. The rest are not Christian.
Our government does not pass the test. Many of our laws do not pass the test. Public schools, colleges and universities do not pass the test. Most of the habits and activities of Americans do not pass the test. And the list goes on.
Those of us who know the Lord and are known by Him must be in prayer for the strength to endure whatever persecution comes against us -- and it will come! For some, it is already here. For those who read this message and are not sure of your salvation, please humble yourselves before the Lord, repent of your sin and unbelief and receive Him as Savio ...
