TV Stations in Milwaukee Refuse to Run Pro-Life Ad

MILWAUKEE, Wis.
  Two television stations have refused to sell airtime to two Wisconsin-based pro life groups.  WISN, the ABC affiliate in Milwaukee, along with FOX6, have both chosen not to run messages sponsored by Wisconsin Family Action and Pro-Life Wisconsin.
   Station management at both channels would not approve the ads, even though they are very similar in style to commercials run by other organizations.
   Wisconsin Family Action and Pro-Life Wisconsin teamed up to educate the public on Assembly Bill 205, which seeks to stop aborted baby body parts from being used for scientific research in Wisconsin.
   It was hoped the pro-life message would air during the morning and evening news broadcasts on each channel.  WISN would not allow the information to go out during their news broadcast, but would air the ads during entertainment programming.  FOX6 went even further, nearly banning the ad altogher, though they did agree to let it air between the hours of 10 pm and 4 am.
   The ad did, however, run on the Milwaukee NBC affiliate, TMJ4 during the conservative Charlie Sykes program, on January 3.
   The :30 second spot shows an ultrasound image of an unborn baby, and asks the question, “What is a human life worth?”  It then includes information released last year by the Center for Medical Progress noting body parts are sold to researchers for between $60 and $80. &nb ...
