Moral Courage

   What is moral courage? God said in Joshua 1: 7, “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.  Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
   God commanded Joshua and the leaders before they entered the land to be strong and courageous, have God’s Word in their hearts and minds and God Himself will be with them wherever they go. God Almighty will be with them always. He is going to fight for them. He is going to win battles for them. His truth will prevail.
   We have a country falling every day into more and more moral decay. If we know God’s Word and it is written on our hearts, we see the decline of standards that He wants for us. A president of the USA telling people that they have to change something so obvious as boys being boys, girls being girls. Sex outside of Holy Matrimony was, at one time, frowned on by society, but now any kind of deviant sexual behavior has to be accepted.
