LGBT…four letters that get a lot of attention.
The LGBT agenda seems to be in a growth spurt lately. I don’t say that solely on the basis of the crazy bathroom laws and mandates our government has implemented to protect the rights of this group. What really makes me realize that this is a growing movement is the number of young people I see in my own community who are choosing to live their lives under one of these labels.
Just the other day, I had a transgender girl wait on me at lunch. It breaks my heart to see so many young people, like this young lady, either oblivious to all the good plans the Lord has for them, or living in rebellion of His design. I don’t know into which of those two categories she fell; but either way, I prayed for her -- that she would know the One True God and come under His authority and definition for her life. Throughout the day, she kept coming to my mind. As I prayed for her, the Lord kept giving me this verse... “if My people, who are called by My name…will pray” (2 Chronicles 7:14a)…
