Strength For the Weary

   In the 24th chapter of the Book of Matthew, as Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives alone with His disciples, He tells them the signs of the end times. The signs are wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, pestilences (diseases), and famines in diverse places. Christians would be hated by all nations.  These events would occur closer and closer in time just as a woman in labor. 
   Sounds just like the days we are living in now. The increase in “spontaneous” riots organized through social media by people living outside the afflicted city is documented.  Illicit drug use has become an epidemic. Crimes against the defenseless ranging from the pre-born to the elderly occur without a second glance from many people. 
   United States citizens are being brutally terrorized by foreigners who are being freely let into our country by money-hungry social service organizations and corrupt politicians. Illegals boldly walk into our country and demand rights not even given to our own citizens. 
   The pestilences include the ever growing Zika virus, drug resistant tuberculosis, and “super lice.” Can you keep track of the worldwide earthquakes occurring these days?
   Christians are understandably weary. We’re not scared. Just drained.
   As if this is not enough, the faithful Christian can expect many satanic attacks in his or her personal life ...
