How Would Jesus Vote?

   How would Jesus vote?  Does He even care about who is in office in our country?  
   Jesus created government, and one day He will rule over all people and we will have a perfect government. (Revelation 11: “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”) 
   Now you may not believe this, but it is written in the Bible and God says it’s true. So either you believe God or you don’t.
   In the Old Testament, God established Saul as the first king of Israel.  God wanted a man who would do His will, so that He could bless Israel. God made a covenant with the people and said, “if you obey My precepts you will prosper.”  If not,  God would bring judgement. As we read in the Old Testament, when Israel had a good king who did what God wanted, the country was blessed, but when they had a bad king who didn’t follow God’s commands, there was judgement.
   When Jesus came to earth, He established God’s kingdom in the hearts and minds of people He redeemed by His death and resurrection. God’s true kingdom is shown in the lives of people who are born again by the Spirit of God, and live their lives by that Spirit in obedience to Jesus and His teachings.
