Is There a Perfect Designer?

   A question that everybody should consider is; “Why should I read and study the Bible?”  The concise answer to this question is that “the Bible alone contains the message of a Living Savior who actually has the power to save lost sinners from an eternity in hell.”  It has the “words of life” in that it tells us about the “Living Word,” who is Jesus Christ (see John 1:1-18).  

   There are many in this world who contest this proposition, denying the authenticity, reliability, and authority of God’s Word.  Of course, they are free to choose to believe whatever they want to.  However, their unbelief will not make their chosen alternate beliefs true.  The fact is that almost all who reject Biblical truth do so in favor of what they perceive to be true according to their own ideas and preferences.  

   Just as there are physical laws that govern or regulate all of the universe, such as the law of gravity, the laws of thermos dynamics, inertia, buoyancy, displacement, etc., there are spiritual laws that regulate the spiritual aspects of the universe.  When engineers design automobiles, airplanes, ships, buildings and so forth, they must carefully consider those things that are sometimes referred to as the “laws of nature,” to insure that what they have designed will function as planned without breaking down.  La ...
