The first thing I would like to say is I know that for every decision I make, I am responsible to Jesus Christ, my Savior. He will either give me rewards or my works will be burned as with fire.
I would also like to mention that I am a born again Christian who knows that it was God’s grace alone through faith alone that has saved me from the wrath of God and secured my place with Jesus forever. John 14: 6-7, “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you know Me, you will know My Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.’”
My testimony here will only glory in Christ Jesus and Him crucified and resurrected for my sins, I put absolutely no confidence in any good work or thing I have ever done to bring me into the Father’s presence. And again, I take personal responsibility before Jesus Christ for all I have ever done or thought.
But I constantly hear from my pastors, who are the “shepherds” of my soul, that my position with God and Jesus is all about relationship and not about following rules. I hear from pastors all the time that rules in life have nothing to do with the Christian faith. B ...
