The sample issue of Wisconsin Christian News which I requested arrived yesterday, and I thank you for it. I read it cover to cover and am very impressed with it’s content and much needed information.
I’m presently incarcerated and I listen to VCY America Christian programming on KVCY from Fort Scott, Kansas.
For my morning devotions today, I read Psalm 78, which describes exactly what is happening in the world today. It’s sad that professing Christians, that MANY Christians, have become so lukewarm, avoiding the serious challenges and needs which the Church is unwilling to confront with courage. Unwilling to “take up their cross.”
I’m inclined to agree with others who expect this nation to suffer persecution in the not-too-distant future. This nation has been so greatly blessed. I’m concerned hardships and suffering will be difficult for most to endure.
As a detainee, I have lots of time to pray, and I will most definitely be praying for the continuing ministry of the Wisconsin Christian News, and for you in particular. You carry a heavy load and I admire you for it. Please don’t allow your critics to discourage you. We need you NOW, perhaps more than ever.
