The Church in Crisis

To know God is to know the character of God our father in heaven.  As a true child of His we will have His character! Like Father like son.

Galatians 5:22 and 23 describes the character of God which is given to His children by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, best known as the fruit of the Spirit. “Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” If we are not walking in the Spirit, we are walking in the flesh!

We are as guilty as the Pharisees in Luke 11:42 who pass over the judgment to discern the intent of their own heart, and the love of God.

These they ought to have done, dealing with their heart, and not to leave the other, their good works undone. As His true children (Ephesians 2:10) “we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
