“This year’s Conference will feature the most powerful lineup of speakers we have ever had,” said Rob Pue, WCN publisher.
“We have identified the most important moral and societal issues that our country is facing today, and we believe the only answer to these ominous threats is to educate and motivate the Church (Remnant believers) to action,” Pue added.
The theme of this year’s Conference is “Reviving the Remnant by Revealing the Truth.” To that end, presentations will seek to Reveal the Truth and educate the remnant believers in Christ, and then offer ways for individuals to be true salt and light in the current culture war that threatens to destroy America and the world.
There is so much vital information that needs to be presented, some changes have had to be made to the regular Expo and Conference schedule, in order to get everything in.
“We normally get together with our WCN Ministry Partners on Friday evening for a banquet and fellowship. But this year, we’re starting our first Conference presentation on Friday night instead,” Pue said.
The event will begin Friday, March 10 at 7:00 pm. Pastor Terry Fischer of the Church in Wisconsin, located in Muskego, will launch things off with a brief introduction of what the Expo will feature.
Then Usama Dakdok will take the podium and begin his presentation, “Revealing the Truth About Islam.”
Dakdok founded the Straight Way of Grace Ministry in 2001 and travels throughout the United States and Canada, equipping Christians to be effective witnesses of Jesus Christ to their Muslim neighbors, as well as ministering to Muslims directly.
Usama was born in Egypt and grew up in a Christian home. While in government schools in Egypt, he learned about Islam, just as every other student does in a Muslim country. He also studied for a University degree in Egypt which included the study of Sharia, Islamic Law.
His focus is twofold: to equip the Church to minister to Muslims, and to warn all Americans about the deceptive methods being used by Muslims that lead so many into the cult of Islam.
Usama will speak Friday night, March 10 at 7 pm, and again Saturday, March 11 at 9 am and 12 noon. Learn more about his ministry at:
Also featured at this year’s Conference will be Peter Labarbera, president of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH). His ministry is dedicated to exposing the homosexual-bisexual-transgener activist agendas.
AFTAH is a rare single-issue national group on the “other side” of this critical “culture war” issue. LaBarbera does not fit the liberal caricature of the angry “homophobe,” even as some homosexual activists try to portray him as such. He debates the issue with civility -- even when his homosexual opponents refuse to do so. He has appeared on hundreds of TV and radio news programs including Fox’s “Hannity and Colmes,” CNN’s “The Larry King Show,” and “Crossfire.” He also writes for LifeSiteNews.com

Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Council will speak at 11 am on Saturday. Julaine is a strong advocate for the family and conservative Christian values. Her message is “Revealing the Truth About the Foundation of the Family,” and she will explain the importance of solid Christian parenting, instilling righteous moral values in our children, and standing for the Truth of God’s word in today’s chaotic world. After a short lunch break, back by popular demand is Coach Dave Daubenmire of Pass the Salt Ministries from Hebron, Ohio. Coach Dave, a veteran 35 year high school football coach, was spurred to action when attacked and eventually sued by the ACLU in the late 1990s for mixing prayer with his coaching. After a two year battle for his First Amendment rights and a determination to not back down, the ACLU relented and offered coach an out of court settlement.
As a result of the experience, Coach heard the call to move out of coaching a high school team, to the job of coaching God’s team. PASS THE SALT was formed to encourage the Body of Christ to step into the cultural war. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood…” PASS THE SALT is convinced that God has given the Body a window of opportunity to take our culture back.
Coach Dave is committed to bringing together the body of Christ across denominational, racial, and economical borders to demonstrate to America the power of Biblical unity. His vision is to unite, organize, and mobilize the Army of God to be Salt and Light as stated in Matthew 5:12.
Challenging the “Church of the Status Quo,” Pass The Salt is calling Christians to engage the culture. By taking the fight to the enemy, Coach Dave has become a recognizable voice with the media as he is an unashamed, articulate, apologist for the Christian worldview.

At 2:00 pm, Pastor Matt Trewhella will address the issue of “Revealing the Truth about Why Abortion Should Matter to the Church.” Pastor Matt founded Missionaries to the Preborn in Milwaukee in 1990. Since the mission began, six of the eight abortion clinics in Milwaukee have closed down, fourteen abortionists have stopped murdering babies, nearly 700 babies have been rescued from death through the direct efforts of his ministry, and scores of people have been converted to Christ, including parents of the babies, government officials and prison inmates.
Yet the Evangelical Church remains, for the most part, strangely silent and apathetic toward the plight of the unborn. Pastor Matt will raise awareness of this demonic practice and motivate the Remnant believers to action. Learn more at
Pastor Terry Fischer leads the Church In Wisconsin, located in Muskego, near Milwaukee, and is the “official Pastor” of Wisconsin Christian News. His message, starting at 3:00 on Saturday will be “The Revelation of Jesus Christ,” tying all of the Conference topics together and revealing that the only solution to truly change a dying nation is each individual surrendering their heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Terry hosts Revival meetings throughout the state, encouraging Remnant believers to return to the basic teachings of Scripture, to come together in unity as God’s Holy Bride, the Church, no longer forsaking it’s “first love.” Find out more about Terry at:
The day will round out with a special performance by the ever-popular MPK Christian Celtic Band, where you’ll savor a musical experience not soon forgotten. Traditional Scottish fiddle tunes with a wee bit of Irish thrown in for good measure. MPK performs many traditional 18th century Scottish songs, and they also write and perform their own original music. Concerts integrate music, poetry, worship and traditional Celtic dance and have a positive message for the entire family. See and hear more at: MPKBand.com
Dawn Wolf of the MPK Band will serve as the Conference event coordinator and emcee.
In addition to all the speakers and the concert, the Expo will feature many exhibits by Christian ministries from throughout Wisconsin. Lots of great educational, ministry and outreach resources will be available including books, CDs, DVDs and tracts. WCN writers and speakers will be on hand to meet and greet. Plus there will be a Brat Fry and other food for lunch, a prayer booth, Bible quizzing (with prizes) for all ages, and lots of activities for the kids.
The entire event is FREE, though freewill offerings will be received for each speaker and for the MPK Band, after each session.
“This year’s Conference will address all the most important things Christians need to learn, most of which are never even mentioned or discussed in most of our churches today, due to the plague of ‘Political Correctness.’ I truly believe this will be the most important event you will attend all year... many will hear and learn things they’ve never heard in their churches, ever! I hope MANY Christians show up to learn the truth!” Pue said.
The WCN Ministry Expo and Conference is unique in that it is not just a gathering for Christians, but also an opportunity for REAL outreach to the unsaved public. Because the event is held in a public shopping mall, it provides an enormous Christian witness, out there in public, beyond the four walls of a church building.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for each Conference session, as seating is limited.
Those planning to arrive on Friday afternoon will find a wide variety of hotel accommodations within minutes -- some within walking distance -- of the Mall. For details on hotels in the area, or for questions regarding the event in general, contact Rob Pue at (715) 486-8066.
“If you have never attended a WCN Ministry Expo before, it is WELL WORTH your time. And THIS is one you will NOT want to miss,” Pue added. “I can GUARANTEE you will learn more, and find yourself more informed, inspired and encouraged than you have been in YEARS!”
