Second Seasons Hope is a charity, founded on the principles of God’s Word. We understand that children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3) and as such, we seek to love and help support those children by providing financial assistance to children and their families, for urgent cares and needs, in such cases as, but not limited to, emergency medical needs (i.e. prescription medication and emergency medical procedures); food for the family, in such cases where there is an immediate need; and travel expenses in such cases where there is an immediate need. Furthermore, Second Seasons Hope also desires to help grant wishes, for qualifying children, providing them with a renewed spirit of joy and renewed spirit of desire to overcome their current state of adversity, both physical and mental.
We formed with the vision that everyone goes through seasons in their life. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 tells us that there are seasons of happiness and joy but also seasons of sadness and pain; this excludes no one. We know how tough it can be for adults to go through seasons of pain and hurt but how much harder is it on children? Children look to adults for strength, they look to adults for their answer, they look to adults for hope, they look to adults to help them through their seasons, we want to assist those adults in helping those children, providing them with a second hope.
