We Must Obey the Gospel Of Our Salvation

   God calls people to the “Gospel of salvation” in Acts 2:14-41, mostly through members of His Church and those in the process of becoming members.  Once you have been chosen by God to obey Jesus, and be sprinkled by His blood, it is up to you to do so.  You have free will to obey what Jesus and His apostles told us.  The events and commands are recorded in His written Word.

   It’s been said that “the human mind is like an umbrella:  it only works when it is open.”  But relying on what you hear from men without comparing it with the written Word can be eternally fatal.

   If you think, or declare that you are the president, does that make it true?  If you think or declare that you are a Christian, does that make it true?

   It only becomes true when you obey (comply) with the “Gospel of your salvation.”  God will fairly judge those who are willing, but unable to comply with it.

   If you are rational, and physically able to comply with Acts 2:14-41, then what excuse will you offer to God for not doing so?  Will you tell Him that you thought that the one who presented the “Gospel of your salvation” to you was wrong?  Will you tell Him that you did not understand what you read, or that you thought tha ...
