WILD 2017 Summit in Review

   In July, 30 people from 10 different countries gathered for the bi-yearly WILD (Wise Intentional Leadership Development) Summit in Kampala, Uganda.  Representatives from Sierra Leone, Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Nepal and the United States came together for the 5 day conference.
 
   David Ditzler, WILD International Board member and High School principal attended as part of the U.S. WILD delegation.  Here are insights from David regarding his time during the Summit.  

   “This trip to Africa far exceeded any thoughts or expectations I may have had. When Mike Prom asked me to consider being a part of the trip this summer, I had reservations, but also knew that it would be an exciting and life changing experience. 

   “Building relationships with the various people present was very rewarding. I know that I can speak with any of them at any time and step back into that relationship in a moment's notice. Hearing what the Lord is doing through WILD is very exciting. Each team member was so encouraged to see us and know that WILD is real. The members were able to show and speak of how the leadership materials are changing lives.  I am humbled by how hard each of the WILD leaders work.
