How many there are, no one actually knows, but more than can be counted on fingers and toes. They are nearly invisible, seldom seen at church, sometimes undependable, leaving you in the lurch. You may be surprised just who these folks are, but to find just a few, you need not travel far.
Paper Christians, they speak, uninvolved in content, Hell Fire insurance, and safe deposit it wants. Signed and delivered, by the password, no less, they’re bona fide Christians, should anyone guess.
Baptism certificate, that paper is proof, plus membership status, it must be the truth. This word of warning, they’re afraid to get wet, so avoid Christian service, it could make them sweat.
Still on the milk, without meat of the Word, usually absent from preaching, so little they’ve heard. Very weak is their faith and too busy to pray, and excuses sufficient, like a headache all day.
This may sound too harsh for all paper Christians, suffering wear and tear from so many symptoms. I really have to believe those Escape tribulation, saving souls for others, who missed this occasion. Always wary of Fire are all Christians on paper, had they been devout Christians, they’d feel so much safer.
