CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis.
With three stages and both national and regional acts, this community event offers a diversity of music, inspiring messages, family activities, youth entertainment, and ministry showcases.
“There hasn’t been a Christian music festival in the Chippewa Valley in over ten years,” event coordinator Heather Flashinski, of rural Cadott, noted. In late 2016, she was drawn to the idea of pulling together a celebratory Christian music event. The song “Do Something” by Matthew West offered encouragement. “Every time I decided it might be too much to take on, another call or email would come in from someone saying, ‘What a great idea, I’d love to help.’ I felt that God wanted this event to happen.”
From those inspirations, OneFest was born. An organizing group of people from diverse Christian backgrounds have met regularly to plan the event. Studying similar successful events throughout the country, the organizers are committed to a family-focused event that they hope to see grow.
