The Battle Within Our Mind. The Word of God, or Our Imagination?

   The Apostle Paul states in Romans 8:3-8, “For what the law could not do, in that it was weak throught the flesh.”  The law did not fail.  It was the flesh that failed!  “God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness (right thinking) of the law might be fulfilled in us (the New Covenant, the law put in our inward parts).  Those who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mend the things of the flesh,” the sin unto death.  “But they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit, for to be carnally minded (to live after the law of the flesh” (I John 2:16) is (the sin unto) death: but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God,” always leading to and ending in eternal death.

   “But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.  Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.” Lost for eternity!  “And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin. (The body only knows the law of the flesh); but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.”  For the Spirit only knows right think ...
