RBC is Gearing Up for Summer

   I JUST HAVE TO SAY, I love WISCONSIN!  The old saying goes, “If you don’t like the weather, just wait ten minutes and it will change!”  I know Wisconsin is not for everyone, but I truly love living here, the unpredictable weather, each season and what it brings.

   While the majority of Wisconsinites and nature were gearing up for spring with people in shorts, trees budding and lillies pushing up through the ground, winter wasn’t quite finished.  God saw fit to bring us just shy of two feet of snow.  Yes, I said TWO FEET of snow April 13-15.  It was quite a storm, but beautiful to me.  Even though many of our human agendas and schedules were delayed and cancelled, God’s never are.  He used the storm to cancel the plans of some friends, who in turn stayed home and ended up being able to do some serious personal reflection, causing one to realize their need for our Savior!  Amazing!  Praise God!

   We are looking forward to our Rural Bible Crusade board meeting.  It will be good to catch up with the board members, talk about the progress of RBC, how we might be able to do things better, summer ministry preparation, potential house projects and vision for the ministry.
