Criminalization of Christianity

   Some of you in the Lynchburg area will remember Lisa Miller, a young single mother, who had been ensnared in the homosexual lifestyle, but was gloriously saved and freed.  Thus, she wanted to raise her daughter according to Biblical values; values which many in this community follow faithfully.

   She was charged and convicted of kidnapping her own biological daughter and fleeing the country. There were three godly men that aided in her travels — Timo Miller, a Mennonite missionary to Nicaragua; Ken Miller, a Mennonite Pastor; and Philip Zodhiates, a Christian businessman.

   Timo Miller served time under house arrest; Ken Miller was released from prison on March 6, 2018 after 27 months of incarceration; and Philip Zodhiates’ appeal has been denied. Philip will now serve 36 months in prison.

   His crime:  giving Lisa a ride from Virginia to Buffalo, New York.  Mind you, Lisa had full custody of her daughter and had no travel restrictions.  NO CRIME WAS COMMITTED.

   Virginia courts gave Vermont jurisdiction over the case. If the cases had been tried at the time in Virginia, the cases would have been shut down immediately because of the laws on Virginia’s books concerning marriage.  But Vermont’s laws did not match up with God’s laws on marriage, ...
