RBC Camp Was Bigger and Better Than Ever

   For campers and staff alike, the week of RBC Camp is simultaneously one of the most exhausting and rewarding weeks of the year! Most of you who have been a camper and/or staff know exactly what I'm talking about. Our daily schedule just doesn’t allow for mediocrity!  Whether classes, devotions, recreation, or eating; everything is intentional to our goal to point to Jesus Christ. It is awesome to see how God unites a very diverse camp staff who come from many different backgrounds to come together and minister to the campers.

   Camp is the biggest expense of the year for RBC, and we are always awed by how God provides through the generosity of churches and individuals. Thank you! Now on to some camp highlights!

   We were blessed to have 129 campers and 47 staff and many guests who visited throughout the week!  We want to share how we saw God answer a prayer that we had been asking Him for since we became directors. Our prayer was that He would increase the numbers of our junior group. While it’s thrilling to see our total camper number grow, for the first time this year our Jr. camper group (ages 8-12) was larger than our Sr. group (ages 13-18). This is exciting because these  are the future RBC campers who we will have the opportunity to impact for many years to come!
