Judgment Begins in the House of God...Again

   When Jesus ministered here on earth for 3 1/2 years, He began by cleansing the Temple. “Jesus went up to Jerusalem, and found in there these that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting  there: and when He had made a scourge of small cords, He drove them all out of the Temple....and said unto them that sold doves ‘take these things hence, and make not My Father’s house an house of merchandise.’” His disciples remembered that it is written (Psalm 69:9) “The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.” (John 2:13-19).

   But it didn’t end there. At the conclusion of His ministry, Jesus repeats what He had done before... “and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; saying unto them, ‘It is written (Isaiah 56:7) My house is the house of prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves.’” (Luke 19; 45-46)

   Now here we are about 2,000 years later and Jesus, the soon coming King of Kings, will be doing it again. Concerning the need for an end time cleansing, Luke makes a prophetic observation.. “...because thou knewest not the time  of thy visitation.”  (Luke 19: 44).  This applies to both then and now.
