What Must I Do to be Saved?

Editor, Wisconsin Christian News:
Is calling on the Lord for help the same as calling on His Name for salvation?

If someone prays for healing of a disease, or physical injury, is that asking Him to forgive your sins?

God’s way of asking Him to forgive your sins is (Acts 2:38-41).  In (Acts 22:16), it says, “And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized washing away your sins calling on His Name."  Who’s Name do you call on at your personal water baptism?  The Greek word “baptism” means sunken ship.

In (Romans. 6:1-10, and 10:13-17), we are told to believe in and place our faith in Jesus BEFORE we call on His Name for salvation.

When Jesus died on the cross, HE OBTAINED ALL SIN, and PROVIDED THE WAY to have our sins forgiven.

If everyone’s sins were forgiven when Jesus died on the cross then everyone is going to Heaven because sin is what separates us from God.  In Acts 3:22 it says that we MUST LISTEN TO EVERYTHING that Jesus tells us, and that includes Matthew 16:13-19, and Luke 24:45-19.  So how are we told to have our sins personally forgiven if not by the “one” Scriptural baptism of Acts 2:38-41?  See Acts 5:20 to what we are told to present to the public.
