The Urgent Mandate to Stand for Life

Complimentary Story
Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.”

The Bible says we were created by God and that we were created in God’s image. “Image” meaning a persona or a representation.
Male and female. Two genders created in the image of God.

Genesis 2:7, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

The “breath of life” and “a living soul” comes to us directly from God.

Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee...”

Life begins at conception! The sanctity of life!

Psalm 109:6, “Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.”

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a bill “The Reproductive Health Act” allowing for abortions up to and including a woman’s due date to give birth. In other words, if a woman goes to the hospital in labor, she can choose to either give birth to her baby or abort the child depending on her mental health at the moment.

This new law also takes away any protection for a baby who survives an abortion. He or she will not receive any medical care but will be allowed to suffer and die.

This new law transfers abortion from the penal code to the public health code. This law frees abortion providers, i.e. Planned Parenthood, etc., from criminal sanctions.

After the bill was signed there was cheering and clapping in the room. Governor Cuomo even had the One World Trade Center lit up in pink that evening to repulsively celebrate the new law.

By the way, at the same One World Trade Center, there is a memorial for the unborn babies who died in the 9/11 terrorist attack at the site.

This is the same Governor Cuomo, who on August 2, 2018, tweeted that “the death penalty is morally indefensible” and he would be advancing legislation to remove it from State law once and for all.

The “Reproductive Health Act” bill was signed into law on the 46th anniversary of the notorious Roe vs. Wade decision by the United States Supreme Court.

New York now joins several other states who are extraordinarily lenient with abortion. Oregon, New Hampshire, Vermont, Colorado, and Illinois to name a few states.

Ironically, in New Jersey, Democratic Assemblyman Benjie Wimberly has drafted legislation that would make it a fourth-degree crime with fines for slaughtering or even transporting pregnant livestock to slaughter.

Wimberly explains, “It’s animal rights. It’s the moral thing to do and you’re protecting something that really can’t protect itself.”

On January 22, Hillary Clinton tweeted her joy at the passing of the new abortion law.

On the same day, Chelsea Clinton tweeted her and her husband’s joy of learning they will have a third child this summer.

Norma McCorvey, the Jane Roe of Roe vs Wade, gave birth to her child and placed her for adoption. Norma went on to become a pro-life Godly woman.

John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life…”

During the Fall of 2018 wildfires ravaged Northern California. A woman named Rachelle just gave birth to her third child via C-section when her hospital was evacuated.

She and her newborn son were helped into a hospital employee’s car. The harrowing escape route included a traffic jam and flames inching closer. She made the employee promise her that “If it comes down to it, if you have to run, take the baby. Leave me behind.”

They were eventually returned to the hospital. Mother and son and hospital employee were saved.

Rachelle was willing to give her life to protect her child.

A British woman named Kate was pregnant with her second child when she found out her cancer had returned. Her doctors suggested an abortion so she could follow through with treatments.

Kate put off her own intense treatment to save her baby. Her daughter was delivered by C-section six weeks early so Kate could start her radiotherapy. Kate and her husband named the newborn Katie-Hope.

Kate is an example of showing sacrificial love for the baby in the womb.

Psalm 94:16, “Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?”

Bible-believing Christians must show their Christian faith by standing up to Satan and his workers of iniquity. Christians must rise up against the evildoers. Their collective voice must be heard.

Life is the first gift given to us from God.

The urgent mandate to stand for life is now!

Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
