Conquerors, Not Wanderers (Continued)

   In last month’s article I challenged the reader to realize the church is to be more like Joshua and Israel conquering Canaan Land, than it is to identify with the backslidden Israelites who wandered in the wilderness.
 
   God brought Israel out of Egypt because they cried unto Him of their hard bondage. God heard Israel’s cry so He called to His servant Moses: “And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.” (Exodus 3:7-8). 

   Moses received a two-fold calling. To bring out and bring in. God brought Israel out of Egypt to bring them into the Promised Land, not to wander in the wilderness. God was delighted to bring Israel into a land flowing with milk and honey. It was a good land that flowed with blessings, but they refused to go in when God told them to. God still wants to bring people out of the cursed life and bring them in to an unbelievable blessed life, but some are not interested in taking Him up on it, or just really don’t believe Him.
