Trail Ridge Camp in Hillsboro invites all women and girls to its 3rd Annual “Mother/Daughter Retreat” beginning at 5pm on Friday, April 26 through the Sunday morning worship service on April 28. The theme of this year’s retreat is “Disciplines of a Godly Woman.” The guest speaker is Miriam Marriott, a teacher and mentor to women. Miriam writes a monthly blog to share the goodness of God with women of all ages.
This weekend will include four different chapel sessions that will build you up and invigorate you to follow the blueprints from God’s Word to help you be the woman God designed you to be.
This retreat will deepen that extraordinary female bond between mothers, daughters, grandmothers, aunts, and friends.
There are some new features to the retreat this year.
On Saturday afternoon, plan on a short refreshing break for tea and fellowship with the other women and girls. This will energize you for the many activities to choose from this special weekend.
The gun range is available for those who are interested in sharpening their skills. Be sure to bring your own rifles, handguns, and ammo.
Other activities available, depending on the weather are boating, archery, mini-golf, go-karts, crafts, and wagon rides. The game room and the snack shop will also be available for your pleasure.
Just for laughs, Sunday morning includes “Big Hat Breakfast.” Prizes will be awarded.
Five meals are included this weekend starting with a Friday night supper and finishing up with the Sunday breakfast.
The cost of the weekend is $60 for ages 18 and older and $40 for ages 17 and younger. Space is limited and registration is required by Wednesday, April 17.
