‘Stripper Poles’ — Not in OUR Town!

   Miracles still happen, and the citizens of Dodge County in the community of Juneau, Wisconsin witnessed that Sunday May 5, when the Solomon Gentleman’s Club allowed a faith-based Christian concert to take place. 

   In an effort to propose the idea of repurposing the building to a family-friendly venue to benefit the community, I, along with Pete Von Reuden met with Mike Siegel, the owner of the Solomon Club and proposed doing a Christian concert there.  Siegel agreed and even told us he would shut the building down for an entire day to do it.

   The goal in mind for us, as members of the Christian Leaders Coalition, has been to encourage the community, including government leaders, to buy the building and turn it into a performing arts or multi events center. Ultimately people from a Church or faith-based organization as well could attend the concert and see the potential the building has. After setting the date, the Christian Leader’s Coalition, a division of the non-profit Adoration Abode, organized the concert and set the event in a full speed ahead motion on a mission.
