In that meditation, Max remembered back to his youth when he was seeking input from older Christians as to the direction for his own life occupation. He asked a seasoned pastor he admired, if he thought that Max would make a good preacher. His advice was, “don’t preach God’s word, unless you have to.” As Max Lucado pondered these words, he found his answer, “I have to,” Max said, “if I don’t the fire will consume me.”

My wife tells me I am a very multi talented and complicated individual. I love the outdoors. I go fishing and hunting.
