Gender Dysphoric Gypsy on Appleton Council

   On March 1, 2018, a Christian radio station and five churches in DePere, Wisconsin filed suit as a “non-discrimination” ordinance was passed. This ordinance was put in place requiring all businesses, (including Christian-owned) to hire, promote, or hold events for the LGBTQP+ people. When I inquired about this, I was informed that the City of Appleton passed an Employment and “Accommodations” Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity (SOGI) Ordinance on June 24, 2014. This Ordinance would require the same things as DePere’s Ordinance. 

   None of this made sense to me as to where out of the “clear blue” this ordinance came from — until our son was watching the news on a local TV  station and they had a story on featuring a “Councilperson” by the name of Vered Meltzer. This person is clearly a female who is “gender dysphoric”  by claiming “she” is a “he.”

   After researching this, all the puzzle pieces began to fall into place. Vered Meltzer is a “transgender” who graduated from Lawrence University, Appleton in 2004.  While at Lawrence University she belonged to the “Yuai Community.”  She wrote an article for the July/August 2014 edition for Ourlivesmadison.com which is completely dedicated to the LGBTQP+ community titled “Civic Minded Gypsy.”
