The Will of The Ungodly Man

   Much emphasis has been placed on the will of sinful man in evangelical churches today that has led to the idea that if a sinner will just “decide for Jesus,” he will become a child of God.  Sadly, we have departed from the fact that there must not only be an outward call, (i.e., the preaching of the Gospel), but also the inward call, (i.e., the work of The Holy Spirit).   This has led to a subtle deception among saved and unsaved alike as to what true profession of faith in Christ Jesus is.
 
   Many today professing to be Christians have no clue of what the Apostle Paul meant when he declared in 1 Corinthains 12:3 that no man can say that “Jesus is Lord,” but by the Holy Ghost!  We can directly trace this to the erroneous teachings emanating from most of the so-called “fundamental” Bible Colleges in our country today.  I would submit the following points for your consideration:

1).  The unbelieving sinner is spiritually blind!

2).  He is also spiritually deaf!

3).  He has a bad heart!

4).  He is in essence, spiritually DEAD!
