Who is Jesus?

   The most important question anyone could ask is, “Who is Jesus?” 

   John 17:2-3, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify You.  For You granted Him authority over all people that He might give eternal life to all those You have given Him.  Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.”

   John 1:1-5, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning.  Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.  In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

   Jesus proclaimed He was God, the Creator of everything that is. Nothing that has existed has been, without Jesus creating it and sustaining it always. Jesus is the only One Who can give someone eternal life. Jesus is the Only One who can give life — period!  Every person ever born has life because Jesus gave them life. But Jesus does not give eternal life to everyone: only to those that know the only true God and Jesus Christ, His Son.
