The Supreme Court According to the Left: ‘So let it be written, so let it be done’

   Every time there is a Supreme Court ruling Leftists agree with, these same godless, constitutionally-illiterate fools will declare the ruling is “…the law of the land.”

   I am always reminded of the 1956 movie “The Ten Commandments.”  In the movie, Yul Brynner’s Rameses character would issue an edict and then with authority and finality declare, “So let it be written, so let it be done!” Back in ancient Egypt, there was no appealing pharaoh’s decree to a higher court nor any branches of government to have checks and balances in.

   Now, according to the Left, the Supreme Court (nine pharaohs) issue their opinion (a decree) and We The People (subjects of the kingdom) must obey.

   Of course, whenever the Supreme Court (SC) issues an opinion Leftists DON’T agree with, then they declare the Supreme Court is “on the wrong side of history” and “is controlled by the far-right cabal of Thomas, Scalia (rest in peace), Alito — and their ruling is to be ignored and resisted by the states.” 

   Leftists will say, “Stop being ridiculous. Who said SC rulings are the law of the land?”
