Questions For Leftists...and Conservatives

   I've decided to start 2020 with some more questions for the Left and the Right, for Democrats and Republicans.

• When we on the right talk about preserving the institution of marriage, you Leftists mock us and ask, “Where is this Institute of Marriage? Do they have tours?” You Leftists know full well we’re not talking about a physical building somewhere. Yet whenever there are any criticisms of Social Security or suggestions that people be able to hold back a small percentage of their FICA tax to invest in individual retirement plans, you Leftists rant and rave about the need to preserve Social Security.  You say that we are attacking the elderly, that Social Security is a social contract America has with its senior citizens. In that case, I want to ask one question, “Can I see a copy of this contract? I don’t remember signing any social contract for Social Security.”

   See, I can be sarcastic too. But seriously, Leftists, where are the copies of this “social contract” again?

• We’ve seen time and again President Trump being thwarted by federal judges’ rulings that what he’s doing in building a border wall or enforcing a travel ban on various nations is unconstitutional. Conservatives, are you saying that all it takes is for one — just one — unelected judge to issue a ruling and President Trump has to file an app ...
