As a parent and grandparent, long time school public teacher and Christian, I have become increasingly concerned with the direction too many of our public schools are going and what they are doing to our most precious “natural resource”...our children! And, while I don’t pretend to have the definitive answers, I believe I do have a suggestion that could be greatly beneficial to our children and grandchildren, and, in the long run, to our nation as a whole!
I’ve been a public school teacher for about 30 years, grades 7-10, in 3 states: Minnesota, California and Wisconsin as well as a “classroom volunteer” in a small Christian elementary middle school in Wisconsin for a dozen years. While certainly not an expert in the educational field, I have been privileged to work with a very large number of wonderful children, as well as many gifted and talented teachers!
