Our Priorities as True Christ-Followers

   Going into the new year, all of our focus needs to be on Jesus and advancing His Kingdom. There are billions of people who need to hear the gospel. The time is now to pick up your cross and follow Jesus. This world is too lost, too destructive, and too demonic to sit back and watch. Taking action is what we are called to do. 

  Right now, 78% of American adults claim to be Christians according to “Learn Religions.”  If that number is accurate, there are a lot of people saying that they follow Christ but show absolutely no fruit of doing so. Would we be having to try to shut down drag queen story hours, end child sacrifice, or have our children taught that gender and sexuality is “on a spectrum” if the majority of Americans held to biblical values? Even if only one-third of those who claim to be Christians actually were, I think we would be living in a very different America. 

   1 Corinthians 5:11, “But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.”  

   When I read this verse it became so clear to me. We shouldn’t accept those who are living in unrepentant sin and affirm sin in others as true brothers or sisters in Christ. We will know people by their fruit, righ ...
