From the WILD International Office in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, the Titus Email offers a lesson on biblical leadership and another lessons appropriate for youth ministry opportunities. Many of the Christian leaders WILD makes contact with are very limited in their biblical training so this Email offers opportunities to spiritually grow and teach others too — along with continuing to develop relationships with these many leaders.
Recently the Titus Email leadership article spoke about Barzilai (2 Samuel 17:27-29, 19:31-40). The preface to Barzilai’s story is David having to flee Jerusalem in chapter 15. After reading the article, one of WILD’s National Directors, Mairos Mubvumbi from Zimbabwe, shared his thoughts:
