Encouraging Stories in the Fight for Life

Complimentary Story
I have three stories to tell you about different events that have happened in the past couple months. They are impactful for different reasons, but they all point back to abortion being exposed.

While at a High School:
I want to tell you about a conversation I had with a high school student named Caleb recently. At the beginning of our conversation Caleb said, “I could have been aborted, I was debated upon being aborted.” He then paused for a moment and said, “If it was a rape baby or an incest baby, then you can abort it. At the same time… it’s hard to explain. You should never take a life, no matter what.”

I then asked, “Why, then, take the life of a baby? Why kill someone who is innocent? Why should the child conceived in rape be punished for what their father did?”

He replied, “You make a valid point.” I began to say, “Just like you should be protected, and I should be protected...” Caleb finished my sentence: “They should be protected.”

By the end of our conversation he was completely against abortion. Like Caleb, most people who are “pro-choice” haven’t taken the time to think about the justification for their position on abortion. It just takes a few minutes to show them where the errors are and explain to them the consistent view of human equality.

While at the Women’s March:
A team of eight went in protest to the pro-abortion Women’s March to represent the victims of abortion. From the moment we got there ‘til the end of the rally people were swarming us to cover up the abortion victim signs we were holding. I asked them “Why are you trying to hide abortion if you think it is good?” I got a few different responses: laughter, mocking, silence, and others were honest. They said, “Because it is disgusting.” My response to them was, “Yes abortion is discusting because it is killing an innocent human being. Why would you support that?”

They would then break out in a “My body, my choice” chant or laughter. Most of the women I spoke with were post-abortive and rather seeking healing and forgiveness for what they have done, they were doing all they can to normalize it.

While in Florida for the Justice Ride:
There was a baby saved outside of an abortion mill in Tampa. When our team got to there, they set up a few signs and two women walked out of the facility.  My co-worker, Rachel, started talking to them but the ladies still left without saying anything. They then came back so another sidewalk counselor pointed at the abortion victim signs and said, “This is what abortion will do to your baby. Don’t go through with this. We can help you.”

Rachel then added, “Please don’t go back in there.” Then the pregnant mother told them, “I don’t know if I’m going to go through with it. I need to go back in there to get my I.D. and then I’ll talk to you.” Just a few minutes later, they came out and said, “I can’t go through with it. I’m going to keep my baby.”

I hope that these stories encourage you to get active in the fight against abortion or help you continue in the fight. We must do our part to see the preborn protected and abortion ended.
