‘The New Normal’ - What Will it Be... and Become?

   COVID – 19. Just the mention of this disease makes people nervous and distant. We have to be because this pandemic has changed the course of our lives, for now, and who knows for the future? Death has become a reality for many families and serious illness from this disease is a real threat for many. For communities, a harsh reality is the loss of jobs, incomes, families without means of support and loss of businesses. The disease is costing us economically both nationally and internationally. Will the six-foot space between us become our new normal?

   Yes, death is a reality, but so is the wonder and beauty of new life. Life flourishes like the blossoms of spring, in spite of the snow. Life continues in spite of this pandemic. Clients at Bella are still making life-affirming decisions amidst the chaos. In keeping with our mission to save lives, we offer curbside and door-to-door service for those Bella clients with newborn infants and for those whose babies who have yet to be born.  Needs are more pronounced than ever with the shortage of diapers, formula and other baby supplies in local stores. 

   Bella has been able to meet many of these needs due to your generosity over these last few months and years.
