Why Are the Churches Asleep?

   Do you notice that a “few” churches are beginning to hold “Sunday morning” services, at least as a “drive in?”

   Where are our priorities when we will put going to a weekly church service above our unborn neighbors who are being slaughtered by the thousands… DAILY?

   What does it say about the leadership who, we would assume, are “born again” (saved) and being LED and guided by the Holy Spirit?

   Statistics show that only 2% of “Christians” in the U.S. share the Gospel outside of their churches (according to Bill Bright of Campus Crusade for Christ/according to the Promise Keepers, 90% of the men polled admitted to never sharing the Gospel!), even though it is the most important responsibility of being a Christian, it is the “Great Commission.”  If we profess to be Christian, we are entering into a Covenant with God stating that we will live our lives under His Authority and in complete submission to Him; that is what “deny yourself” means!

   But, if only 2% of professing Christians are doing this, even though the great majority sincerely believe they are born again and being led by the Holy Spirit, there is a great disconnect with who God is and what a genuine Christian is.
