John 10:27, “My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me.”
Do you listen to God’s voice? Do you hear Him speaking? Scripture is clear that, if we are His, part of His flock; we will listen to Him, hear Him, be known by Him and follow Him based on what we are hearing.
This is the heart of Biblical prophecy, its spirit; the testimony of Jesus. What is He saying to us today? Surely He still speaks. We pray fervently and expect His answer. Sometimes it is the still soft whisper of the Holy Spirit within us, other times it is the Word of God illuminated as we read; our circumstances and afflictions are useful ways for God to get our attention; and at times God speaks to us using other Believers to share His will and His Word with us.
