America, “One Nation Under God” is a given. There is no question, by looking honestly at our history, that GOD’S HAND was in the very lives and works of our Nation from its beginning.
We see the pre-eminence of God’s providential guidance from the discovery and building of America: The dependence upon Him, the freedom to worship Him, the credit given to Him being the Source of their everything, the great proclamations inspired by Him under the Laws of Nature — Life; Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that no other nation possessed.
