A Patriot in Sharp Contrast to a Politician: Pastor David King

If you believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and support the Constitution’s original intent, be encouraged: a man of greatness is among us.

I heard Pastor David King, candidate for Wisconsin Secretary of State, speak recently. It was the second time, and his message was equally inspiring as his delivery at the Greenville TEA party last summer. Yes, he has a commanding control of audience attention, whether speaking to 15 or 15,000. He variously entertains and instructs, moving from Wisconsin political history to moral family life issues, to his ambitious agenda to restore purpose and power to a position previously stripped of impact. Installed in that position, I do not doubt his ability to purge corruption from our voting system, operate within a 1 1/2 million dollar budget getting maximum bang for Wisconsin taxpayers’ buck, and literally roll up his sleeves and work among us, should disaster or other strife call for it. George Soros is reportedly buying up these positions across the country for $100,000 a head. Makes you wonder about this position’s importance and impact, doesn’t it?

Why vote for David King? There’s just something impressive and reassuring about his gritty honesty and Christian faith assuming a position of power down there in Madison. During the course of a normal day’s work, I don’t expect that chair at his desk will get much use. He will either be out among the people, looking imposingly over a shoulder, or on his knees getting directives from the Almighty. If I was one of our elected or appointed public servants, I don’t know which I’d fear more.
