  Pursuant to President Trump’s Executive Order 14176 dated March 17, 2025, all records previously withheld for classification encompassing the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection began to be released. An initial release of 63,400 pages within 2,182 .pdf files were posted on March 18; an additional 14,457 pages within 2,566 .pdf files were published between March 20-April 3, 2025, totaling 77,857 previously unseen or unredacted pages. Obviously, a careful review of the documents is a massive and tedious undertaking.
 
   Based on the reactions of most people and pundits, it appears that they were expecting a “smoking gun” within these pages, perhaps confirming who shot President Kennedy. Others, holding onto their baked-in death grip of confirmation bias, appeared to be looking for validation that a lone gunman forever changed history. As I’ve already spent countless hours sifting through the new and newly redacted information, I suspect that both sides will be disappointed. This, however, has not stopped the New York Times and many within the legacy media to declare Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone shooter and proclaim that no conspiracy existed.
 
   Such assessments illustrate the lack of candor, or worse, perhaps, the lack of intellectual honesty or prowess by the media, intelligence officials, and even the public. It ...
