Recently, I received just the second criticism of my book ‘Stand Firm — From the Darkness of Pornography and Sexual Sin into the Light of God’s Grace.’ The first criticism was the book contained too many references to the Bible. I never have regretted directing the book to the Church and those who claim to be Christ followers and using God’s Word to direct our path to freedom from sexual sin.
After this past year’s Barna Report, “The Church’s Silent Struggle,” revealing that 75% of Christian men and 40% of Christian women struggle with porn use, I know that my aim was not off. Since my book is directed at the Church and Christians therein, it is still an outstanding resource to use the divine power of God to crush the Satanic-inspired desire to use porn in any way.
The second criticism, very recently, proclaimed my failure to address the use of internet porn. Internet porn was not really a factor in my story of porn addiction.
